The 100-Year Flood 21k

The 100-Year Flood (1897)
O.O. Flaten, Moorhead, photographer

This view, looking south from Moorhead, shows the Northern Pacific railroad bridge and the Main Avenue (then called Front Street) bridge, weighted down with railroad cars and steam threshing engines to prevent them from floating downstream.

The far right of the photo shows part of downtown Fargo, including the Cass County Courthouse and the High School.
