Fargo Parade, 35k

Fargo Parade
David Anderson, photographer

The date and reason for the parade are unknown. It map be for the Fourth of July, a convention event or a war related occasion.

This view, taken on the corner of the former deLendrecies Department Store, looks east-northeast up Main Avenue with the corner of Broadway clearly in view.

The image, so rich in detail, shows early automobiles, soldiers, cobblestone streets, people, fashions, and businesses, including the old landmark, Shotwell Floral, which is shown tucked among the trees.
