David Anderson, photographerThree months earlier, this young flier from Little Falls, Minnesota, captured the country's imagination with the world's first non-stop solo flight across the Atlantic from New York to Paris.
His visit to Fargo was part of an 82-city tour promoting the development of local airports. Two weeks later, Fargo entered into a lease for the land which is now Hector Airport.
